It is a legend from the PS camera. I am lucky to find one from a Japanese website and had it shipped to Hong Kong last week. The Contax T camera line consists of a number of compact cameras sold by Kyocera under the Contax brand. They were introduced between 1984 and 2002. The T, T2, and T3 use 35 mm film and have a fixed 35 mm wide-angle lens.
Introduced by 1990, my Contax T2 was a silver titanium finish with retracting 5-element Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 38 mm active autofocus and manual focus lens. It cost around USD 800 and is really expensive for me as a start-up equipment into the film camera world. However, this investment is worthy because it transforms money into excitement. I am looking forward to the result of the very first roll from this legendary camera. Stay tuned.
